A space for you to explore, create, and be heard

Art therapy offers a consistent, confidential space to explore thoughts and feelings and process emotions through art-making and reflection. You do not need any previous art experience.

In person sessions are available in a private space at Manchester Museum, therapy is offered at a low cost, in line with our shared commitment to accessible support for those who need it.

You might come to art therapy with experiences of anxiety, burnout, grief, low mood, or feeling stuck in some way. You may be living with mental health difficulties, chronic pain, or navigating ongoing stress in your relationships, work, or daily life. You might simply be looking for time to slow down and reconnect. The work unfolds at your pace. You’ll be invited to use a range of materials and speak if and when it feels right for you.

We meet weekly at a regular time, either in-person at the museum or online. Sessions last 50 minutes.
